My Story

I have had quite the unique path to landing where I’m at now. I am originally from Washington (the state!) and pursued my Bachelor’s in the field of education. Although becoming a counselor was on my radar, the Lord had different plans of taking me on a growing and healing journey first by drawing me to himself when I was in college. Early in that journey, my family endured a devastating loss that prompted me to seek what would turn out to be an impactful counseling experience. Despite the difficulties and deep hurts that I’ve faced, the Lord has been faithful to me, showing me the value of courageously engaging in relationship with Him and with others.

I believe that there are a variety of ways a person can experience healing and restoration. Counseling can be a powerful tool for good. It is my goal to meet you right where you’re at with warmth and welcome, extending the same opportunity for brave and patient exploration that I have been given. Hope is on the horizon.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about my story! I would be honored by the opportunity to work with you and learn from you if the Lord saw it fit.
