Hello

Those who know me, know I am (very) curious by nature. Ever since I was a young girl, I have loved learning about others and the way their minds worked, their experiences, and their emotions. I don’t think I knew it then, but what I was really longing for was that deep, relational connection—to know others and the depths of their hearts. The part that was the hardest for me, however, was allowing myself to be known in return. It’s easy to share the good, joyful, exciting parts of life with others. Being vulnerable and open in the not so good parts is a different story—it is scary and painful and so many things can go wrong.

It has been in the hardest parts of my life however, where I’ve lived in overwhelming grief, devastation, confusion, and isolation, that the Lord has revealed to me the desire for His children in relationships: we were never meant to do this alone. It is scary to be vulnerable and open, yes it’s true. So many things can go wrong—this is also true. That’s not all, though. It is also the place where deep connection, meaning, and redemption is found. It is where the Lord is found. To know others AND to be known in return is beautiful. Holy. Healing. I’ve experienced it firsthand, which has led me to follow the Lord’s calling for my life into the counseling field.

My desire for you, is that you would no longer be alone in the hardest parts of your story. It would be a true honor to sit with you in your deepest, most vulnerable self and meet you with curiosity and compassion. I hope to provide you with a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged to be curious about yourself as you bravely enter into this journey of exploration, healing, and ultimately freedom. Take heart, you are being refined more and more into the image of Christ.
